If someone else has already proposed this idea, let me know and I'll drop it.
I propose the formation of a Free Trade Alliance, composed entirely of Alternative characters.
- The alliance would be composed solely of a N00b militia...when pirate activity is reported (like the M0o blockade of Mara), we can use our alts to swarm into the system. Even in newbie ships, we can damage them en masse'.
- More importantly, we can act as a damage sponge, running interferrence for the "real" pirate hunting corps in well-armed cruisers to attack; and overloading their targeting systems (they cant target 100 ships at once).
- This carries no risk to you, since you really stand nothing to lose except maybe a little time. You die, you respawn in a fresh newbie ship. The assets and skills of your "real" character are protected and immune to retaliation.
- We can mobilize at a moment's notice. Pirate characters cant be online with more than one character at a time, so they have no way to counter us. We can more than make up for the lack of firepower by sheer numbers.
It is time for us to take back the tradelanes...the Alpha Wolf only remains in control so long as the rest of the pack does not turn on him. The masses will no longer be ignored. Together we can defeat them.
I would be willing to front the initial isk to start this corporation, and maybe even a little extra to arm and equip our newbie ships. Post here if you think you might be interested in participating.

What is there to organize?
No officers. No organization. No Taxes. As CEO I will not do anything except provide a common platform...thats it.
We are a mob, pure and simple. And when the pirates try to set up their villages in our tradelanes, we will all surge over them like a tidal wave and burn their village to the ground. Podding any we can in the process (Podding holds a little less significance to a disposible newbie character, no?).
There are way way more of us than there are of them...it's simple numbers. With the current game mechanics, if even 1 in 10 people participate, thats all it will take. We can mobilize at a moments notice, and there isnt a damn thing they could do to stop us.

hahahaha....I am not naming it final solution. I was just trying to be clever...I apologize if anyone is offended.
The name of the corp will be Free Trade Alliance (or somthing similar).

They can teleport them into their holds? No, I didnt know Mo0 could do that.
Even if they could, I doubt they could target all of us AND the main cruisers at once. Damage sponge.

Heh heh heh, I didnt know Smart Bombs had unlimited range. Wow.
6 Ibises is a joke. 30 will make you take notice. 50 will be devastating.

I'm editing this because I left a smartass comment to your post without reading the whole message.
I'm actually not interested in leading a militia corp myself...I only offered to host to get the ball rolling. If you want to make a try for it, more power to you. I will even join.
Technically...it isnt cheating. We are using multiple characters is a way not intended by the developers...but so what? So is Mo0. By using my alt as a disposible thorn in M0o's side, I dont think I'm cheating. And it is still pretty fun.
My in-game name is Sadistic Savior as well...contact me when you have everything worked out and I will be glad to help. I might even donate some cash to the cause.

You guys are missing the point.
You only turn people off by making it "involved". No isk incentives...no power structure...no strategy. nothing except a mob.
Keep it simple; An army of N00b alts with starter ships. No, I dont believe that Smartbombs are some kind of magical bullet that can kill newbie ships endlessly. And lag goes both ways.
Keep it simple, and the next time they pull their blockade sh*t, we all swarm in. It would not even take that many....50 would be enough. I have seen 5000+ online at peak hours...I am sure a militia of 50 newbie ships is do-able.
Oh...and I hope no one is getting the mistaken impression that I am some sort of anti-pirate carebear. I love Mo0. I love the interest they have added to the game. But they cant be allowed to roam at will doing whatever the hell they want...IMO this is a quick and dirty solution. We dont have to wait for CCP to "fix" security in empire space. We can do it ourselves.

You make your own respect...thats the whole point. I should not be required to give it to you by default.
I have zero problems with pirates...even pirates who choose to act like serial killers. This is a RPG right? Why the hell cant I role play a serial killer if I want?
No, my problem was that Mo0 invaded a system under Empire control, and then had the GALL to whine and cry when the police came in and wiped them out. WTF? As if the Caldari would allow some pirates to just invade one of their systems and do nothing.
A newbie militia is a good way to resolve irritations like the Mara blockade without having to wait for CCP response. It's also more fun IMO. It will work if it is simple enough....next time it happens, I will definitly join the fight even if it's only me an 10 other people.
There are obviously way more carebears on this server than non-carebears....why not use their numbers to their advantage. Suicide has no meaning if you have nothing to lose.
What would be REALLY funny is if this n00b swarm managed to pod even one of them...THAT would be hysterical.
